The game and its rules are long-known and became at the latest popular in the 1940s with a radio show from New York City: To guess one´s profession, the quizzer can ask up to 20 questions, which can be answered with either yes or no.
In "The Duck Test" the quizzer guesses her profession right (that of a gallery owner / art dealer) by testing existing preconceptions, thus also revealing norms and values connected to the trade.
